Freelancer

You will still find a variety of projects on the Internet that I have programmed and managed. The focus is no longer on Typo3 but has moved to Joomla and Wordpress. Typo3 has become simply too big for a freelancer with small customers. The range of presentations has increased. Starting from the cooperation at the portal of the city Addis Ababa in Ethiopia I have programmed further pages. In cooperation with Tamesol it became the company site and a site dedicated for children watching the animation series Abeba and Abebe. Abeba and Abebe is fully bilingual in English and Amharic. I made some websites for marketing and some of local Ethiopian NGOs and companies. I especially like the blog of an Ethiopian consultant.

All new websites use responsive design, mostly base on bootstrap templates.

Historia & Web

In 2003 I founded Historia and Web as an independent internet agency, focusing on  municipalities and municipal service providers.

  • Community of Langensendelbach
  • municipal water supply Leithenberg Group
  • Baiersdorf public services

But also other Internet pages

  • Brewery Alt Dietzhof
  • Entertainment band Marinos
  • B&B Hubmühle
  • Vewetec consulting
  • Sardinia Holiday Houses
  • Textwerk Loges
  • Choir Cäcilia Langensendelbach
  • Catholic church Langensendelbach

In 2006 I closed down the agency for personal reasons and continued the ongoing contracts with Vewetec consulting. Since I was not able to take care of the customer locally, they were looking for new service providers when relaunches were made.

For me, this change meant a new life stage abroad.

Formation

In 1994 I started with my first site on the Internet. Many projects were to follow.

The first project was the website of the university archives Tübingen. After an initial planning in 1994 and a small website in 1995, the printed inventory was published on the website. The programming for this was carried out by Ms. Bauer-Klöden in TUSTEP and thus the project developed into a full size website with a type of very early CMS.

Some small projects followed and a first professional trip to a media agency, where I got an insight into larger projects. My last statically programmed site was then for the export academy Reutlingen and the open university course in International Marketing. As project manager in IDG business publishing I was responsible for the websites of some of the magazines.
